12.06.12   |   Important NEWS!!!

Because of the overwhelming demand for our hand-trimmed Christmas trees we have had to close our chose and cut fields. We still have precut trees (Fraser Fir and Scotch Pine) starting at $ 20.00. If you tagged and reserved a tree during the fall, we will be available to assist you during our normal business hours.

Thanks to all of our customers that have made this season so successful. Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you next year! The Haffner's

We have added new roads and bridges so that in even in inclement weather we can get the tractors through every field. We look forward to giving you a hay ride to pick out that perfect Christmas tree. Let it SNOW!!!

WE DO!!! The Missouri summer may be hot and dry but our irrigating system can put over 2 inches of water on over 1,000 trees a night. So regardless of the weather you can be assured that your Christmas tree is healthy, beautiful, and fresh.

WELCOME to our family farm!



Pumpkins and Pines has been family owned and operated for over 20 years. From our modest beginnings of a few trees in 1987 we have grown to over 15,000 Christmas trees.

Our family-run farm is here to give you and your family life long memories. Enjoy a leisurely autumn day strolling through our picturesque farm as you reserve and tag your family Christmas tree. You can then plan a family outing during the Christmas season as you, and your family cut, your Christmas tree. We provide bow saws to cut your tree, or if you prefer, we can cut it for you!

Our Christmas season typically starts the weekend before Thanksgiving. You can select one of over 15,000 hand-pruned trees. We grow Scotch, Red, Austrian, and White pines and we also grow Leyland Cypress trees. We also bring in pre-cut Fraser and Balsam firs.

Regardless of which type you select, we invite you to take a FREE hay ride on our tractor pulled wagon as you sip our FREE hot chocolate. We will shake your tree for FREE to ensure it is clean, then we will bale it for FREE, and attach it to your car for FREE. We also invite you to stroll through our Christmas store that is warmed by an old-style wood stove and enjoy many different selections of home-made Christmas wreaths as well as many unique and distinctive gifts and decorations. Santa is also available on weekends!
